Ayodhya: Retired Indian Forest Service (IFS) officer Krishna Mohan, a 1978-batch officer of the Maharashtra cadre, has been appointed as the interim General Secretary of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust in Ayodhya. The 73-year-old former bureaucrat has been entrusted with the responsibility of overseeing the Trust’s administrative affairs following the resignation of former General Secretary Champat Rai. His appointment comes at a crucial juncture as the Trust seeks to reinforce its governance framework and ensure efficient institutional management.
Krishna Mohan is widely known for his long association with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and has remained connected with the Ram Temple Trust since his retirement from the Indian Forest Service. Drawing on decades of administrative experience, he is expected to focus on enhancing operational efficiency, strengthening accountability, and promoting greater transparency in the Trust’s functioning.
The appointment is being viewed as an important administrative step for the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust as it works to further streamline its governance structure.
