In a significant career milestone, thirteen officers belonging to the State Police Service (SPS) of the Joint AGMUT Cadre (UT Segment) have been promoted to the prestigious Indian Police Service (IPS). Following their elevation, the officers have been formally allocated to the Joint AGMUT Cadre of the IPS, strengthening the cadre’s leadership and operational capabilities.
The officers who have secured promotion to the IPS include Pawan Kumar, R Subash, Sikandar Singh, Rajeev Kumar Ambasta, Laxmi Kanawat, Deepak Yadav, Dhirendra Pratap Singh, Nishant Gupta, Anand Kumar Mishra, Patel Aalap Mansukh, Satish Kumar, Shweta Singh Chauhan, and Amit Kaushik.
The promotions recognize the officers’ years of dedicated service, professional competence, and contributions to policing and public administration. Their induction into the IPS is expected to further enhance law enforcement efficiency and governance across the AGMUT (Arunachal Pradesh-Goa-Mizoram and Union Territories) cadre.
