New Delhi: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the proposal of the Ministry of Home Affairs to waive the mandatory “cooling-off” period for Sudha Singh, IPS (OD:2006), for central deputation.

The approval has been granted by relaxing the provisions of the IPS Tenure Policy, allowing the 2006-batch Odisha cadre IPS officer to proceed on central deputation without completing the prescribed cooling-off period.
