Central Prabhari officers replaced for Aspirational Blocks in UP, Rajasthan

New Delhi, September 2026: The Government of India has replaced the Central Prabhari Officers (CPOs) for identified districts under the Aspirational Block Programme (ABP).

According to an Office Memorandum issued by the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) under the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), the changes have been made as per the enclosed list of officers.

Under the latest order, Aryaka Akhoury, IAS, has been appointed as the Central Prabhari Officer for Ambedkar Nagar district in Uttar Pradesh, covering the aspirational blocks of Bhiti, Bhiyawn and Tanda. She is serving as Deputy Secretary in the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) under the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances & Pensions.

In Rajasthan, Gaurav Singh Rajawat, IAS, has been appointed as CPO for Chittorgarh district, covering the Nimbahera aspirational block. He is serving as Director, Social Justice & Empowerment.

The memorandum is dated September 2026 and directs the newly appointed CPOs to contact NITI Aayog for clarification and guidance regarding their responsibilities.
