Ritu Ranjan Mittar, former Head & Advisor of the Telecommunications Engineering Centre, has been appointed as a Whole-Time Member of the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) for a period of three years.
Additionally, Maruthi Prasad Tangirala, an Additional Secretary in the Department of Financial Services and a 1990-batch IP&TA&FS officer, has also been appointed as a Whole-Time Member of TRAI for the same duration. Both appointments are expected to strengthen the regulatory framework of India’s telecommunications sector.
