In a significant administrative development, six officers from the Tripura State Civil Service (SCS) have been promoted to the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) against the Select List of 2025 and allotted the Tripura cadre.
The officers elevated to the prestigious IAS cadre are Sarmistha Datta, Bimbisar Bhattacharya, Dr Samit Roy Choudhary, Akinchan Sarkar, Sumit Lodh, and Rajesh Kr Das. The promotions are expected to strengthen governance and administrative efficiency in the state, while recognizing the officers’ years of dedicated public service and contribution to Tripura’s administration.
