Tamil Nadu IPS transfers: 15 Police officers get fresh postings across State

The Tamil Nadu government has announced new postings for 15 IPS officers in a major administrative reshuffle across police and law enforcement departments. G Venkataraman has been appointed as Director General of Police (DGP), Civil Supplies CID, while K Bhavaneeswari has been posted as Inspector General of Police (IGP), Singapenn Special Force. Avinash Kumar will now serve as IGP in the Office of the DGP/Head of Police Force.

Praveen Kumar Abhinapu has been shifted as IGP, North Zone, Chennai, and A Saravana Sundar has been appointed IGP, Crime, Chennai. J Mahesh will take charge as DIGP, Vellore Range. P Vijaya Kumar has been posted as DIG/Joint Commissioner of Police, Law and Order, South, Greater Chennai Police.

Among district-level postings, Abhishek Gupta has been appointed SP, Thoothukudi district, while S Brinda will serve as SP, The Nilgiris district. I Shahnaz has been posted as SP, Kallakurichi district, and S Aravind has taken charge as SP, Kancheepuram. Allatipalli Pavan Kumar Reddy has been appointed SP, Coimbatore.

K Karthikeyan has been posted as Deputy Commissioner of Police, Law and Order, Tambaram. In addition, V Satish Kumar has been promoted to the rank of SP and posted as SP, Thiruvarur district. Ravindra Kumar Gupta has also been promoted to the rank of SP and appointed as SP, Pudukkottai district.

The latest Tamil Nadu IPS reshuffle is aimed at improving policing efficiency, law and order management, and administrative coordination across the state.
