In a high-profile appointment, Ms Sujata Chaturvedi has been inducted as a Member of the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). A 1989 batch IAS officer of the Bihar cadre, Ms Chaturvedi brings decades of administrative experience to the Commission, which oversees recruitment to the country’s elite civil services.
