Sangeeta Mahala has been appointed as Assistant Inspector General of Forests (AIGF) at the Ministry of Environment, Forest, and Climate Change (MoEFCC), New Delhi.
Her appointment is on a deputation basis for a period of four years under the Central Staffing Scheme.
Mahala is a 2017 batch officer of the Indian Forest Service (IFoS), belonging to the Himachal Pradesh cadre.
