The government has announced fresh assignments for two officers of the Indian Civil Accounts Service (ICAS), impacting the financial administration of key central ministries.
Satyendra Kumar, an ICAS officer of the 2012 batch, has been appointed as the Senior Controller of Accounts for the Ministry of Labour and Employment and the Ministry of Skill Development in New Delhi. This dual charge highlights the critical role of accounts management in supporting national employment and skill development initiatives.
Garud Rahul Deelip, belonging to the 2016 ICAS batch, will assume the position of Senior Controller of Accounts within the Ministry of Power, New Delhi. His posting is crucial for the efficient financial oversight of the nation’s expanding power sector projects.
These reassignments are part of routine administrative reshuffles aimed at optimizing the financial and accounting control functions across various government departments.
