Barauni: Hindustan Urvarak & Rasayan Limited (HURL) celebrated its 11th Foundation Day at the Barauni unit with enthusiasm and pride, commemorating over a decade of operational excellence, innovation, and contribution to India’s agricultural sector. The celebrations were attended by Virendra Malik, Chairman, HURL, Dr. Siba Prasad Mohanty, Managing Director, HURL, members of the Board of Directors, senior executives, employees, and their families.
The programme began with a comprehensive presentation by the Business Unit Head, HURL Barauni, showcasing the plant’s achievements in production performance, safety standards, energy efficiency, sustainability measures, and future expansion plans. As part of the celebrations, senior leadership participated in a tree plantation drive, underscoring the company’s commitment to environmental sustainability and responsible industrial growth. They also visited key operational facilities to review the plant’s advanced technology, world-class infrastructure, and robust safety systems.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Mohanty reflected on HURL’s remarkable journey over the past eleven years and acknowledged the collective efforts of employees in driving the organisation’s success. A major attraction of the event was the Employee Recognition Awards Ceremony, where outstanding performers were honoured for their contributions and dedication. The celebration concluded with a renewed commitment to empowering farmers, promoting sustainable development, and contributing meaningfully to India’s economic and agricultural progress.
