In a major career advancement, five officers from the State Civil Service (SCS) of Nagaland have been promoted to the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) under the Select List of 2024 and allotted the Nagaland cadre. The officers elevated to IAS are Orenthung Lotha, Anthony Ngully, L Jamithung Lotha, Kuko Mero, and John Tsulise Sangtam. The promotions are expected to strengthen administrative leadership and governance capacity in the state.
