Five officers from the 1997 batch of the Indian Postal Service (IPoS) have been promoted to the Higher Administrative Grade (HAG) and assigned new postings. Following their promotion:
- Mozaffar Uddin Abdali has been appointed as CPMG, Bihar Circle.
- Nirmaljit Singh takes over as CPMG, Odisha Circle.
- Adnan Ahmed has been posted as CGM, Parcel Directorate, New Delhi.
- Shailendra Kumar Dwivedi has been assigned as CPMG, Himachal Pradesh Circle.
- Ashok Kumar has been transferred as CPMG, West Bengal Circle.
