Dr Ravi Prakash Meharda has officially assumed charge as the Director General of Police (DGP), Rajasthan. A 1990 batch IPS officer of the Rajasthan cadre, Dr Meharda will hold the top policing post for a brief tenure of 19 days, as he is set to retire on June 30. He is currently also serving as Director General, Anti-Corruption Bureau, Jaipur.
