Mrs. Anupama Nilekar Chandra, a 1994 batch IPS officer of the Bihar cadre, has been appointed as Additional Director General (ADG) of the Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), with her tenure extending until February 23, 2025.
Meanwhile, Saroj Kumar Thakur, a 2010 batch IPS officer from the Tamil Nadu cadre, has been deputed as Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of the SSB for a five-year period.
These appointments highlight the pivotal roles entrusted to experienced officers in strengthening the leadership of the SSB.
