The Delhi Government has effected a significant administrative reshuffle, transferring 16 IAS and DANICS officers and assigning them new responsibilities across key departments. The changes include appointments in Urban Development, Education, Finance, Home, Food Safety, Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) and other important wings of the Delhi administration.
Among the major changes, Vivek Pandey (IAS: AGMUT-2003) has been posted as Secretary, Urban Development (UD) on joining the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi (GNCTD).
The key appointments and changes are as follows:
- Vivek Pandey (IAS: AGMUT-2003) has been appointed Secretary, Urban Development on joining GNCTD.
- Garima Gupta (IAS: AGMUT-2004), who was awaiting a posting, has been appointed Secretary, Administrative Reforms (AR).
- Vijay Kumar Bidhuri (IAS: AGMUT-2005), currently serving as Secretary, Urban Development, and additionally holding charge of Secretary, Environment & Forests and Chairman, Delhi Pollution Control Committee (DPCC), will relinquish the charge of Secretary, UD.
- Awanish Kumar (IAS: AGMUT-2014) has been posted as Director, Higher Education and TTE on joining GNCTD.
- Ankita Anand (IAS: AGMUT-2015) has been appointed Director, Education.
- Veditha Reddy (IAS: AGMUT-2015) has been moved from Director, Education and appointed Special Secretary, Women & Child Development.
- Dilkhush Meena (IAS: AGMUT-2019), formerly Deputy Commissioner, Municipal Corporation of Delhi, has been posted as Member, Delhi Urban Shelter Improvement Board (DUSIB).
- Amjad Tak (IAS: AGMUT-2005) has been appointed Secretary, Finance on joining GNCTD.
- Azharuddin Zahiruddin Quazi (IAS: AGMUT-2022), Member, DUSIB, who was also holding additional charge as CVO of DTL, IPGCL and PPCL, has been appointed Deputy Commissioner, MCD.
- Shweta Nagarkoti (IAS: AGMUT-2020), who was awaiting posting, has been appointed Deputy Commissioner, MCD.
- Raj Kumar (DANICS-1995) has been appointed Special Secretary, General Administration Department (GAD).
- Ajay Kumar Gupta (IAS: AGMUT-2009) has been appointed Commissioner, Food Safety, with additional charge of Secretary, Home.
- Arti Lal Sharma (IAS: AGMUT-2010) has been posted as Secretary, Irrigation & Flood Control (I&FC).
- Jitender Kumar Jain (IAS: AGMUT-2013), Special Director, Employment, has been relieved of his additional charge as Commissioner, Food Safety.
- Jatin Goyal (DANICS-2012) has been appointed Additional Director, Education.
- Nidhi Sarohe (DANICS-2014), Joint Secretary, PGC, Chief Minister’s Office, who was also holding additional charge as Joint Commissioner, Transport, has been relieved of the charge of Joint Secretary, PGC, CM Office.
