IPS reshuffle in West Bengal: Six officers get new postings

The West Bengal government has carried out a minor reshuffle involving six Indian Police Service (IPS) officers, assigning them to key positions across the state. Manoj Kumar Verma has been appointed as Director, Security, while Supratim Sarkar has taken charge as Commissioner of Police, Kolkata. Vineet Kumar Goyal has been posted as Additional Director General (ADG), Law and Order, with additional responsibility of the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB).

In other changes, Jawed Shamim has been named ADG, STAF, along with additional charge as ADG, Intelligence Bureau (IB). Ajey Mukund Ranade has been appointed ADG, Telecommunications, and Vishal Garg has been posted as ADG, Cyber Cell.
