The Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) has announced two notable appointments within its senior leadership cadre. Manisha Chandra, a distinguished Indian Revenue Service (Income Tax) officer, has assumed charge as the Chief Commissioner of Income Tax in Udaipur, Rajasthan.
Meanwhile, Rajarshi Dwivedy, also from the Indian Revenue Service, has been appointed as Chief Commissioner of Income Tax in Surat, Gujarat. Both officers bring with them a wealth of administrative experience and are poised to contribute significantly to regional and national tax administration objectives.
