Dr. D K Sunil has been appointed as the Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) of Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL). He took over from C B Anantha krishnan on September 1, 2024. Dr. Sunil has been with HAL since 1987 and has held various significant roles, contributing to the company’s advancements in design, production, and technology2.
His term as CMD will last until April 30, 2026. Under his leadership, HAL has developed new technologies and secured key projects, strengthening its position in the aerospace sec.
