Kumar Venkatasubramanian has been appointed as the new CEO of Procter & Gamble (P&G) India, which includes Gillette India Limited, effective from May 1, 2024. He will be taking over from L.V. Vaidyanathan, who has decided to step down to pursue personal interests after a tenure of 28 years with the company3. Kumar, an alumnus of IIM Calcutta, has been with P&G since 2000 and was leading the P&G business in Australia and New Zealand prior to this appointment1. His extensive experience with the company across various markets is expected to benefit P&G India’s growth and strategy.
