In a significant career milestone, 16 officers of the State Forest Service (SFS) in Maharashtra have been promoted to the prestigious Indian Forest Service (IFoS) under the Select List of 2022. These officers have been allocated to the Maharashtra cadre and will now contribute to forest governance at the national level. The promoted officers include Shailendrakumar Balkrishna Jadhav, Geeta Sadashivrao Nannaware, Yashwanta Shriramji Bahaley, Uday Chandrakant Dhage, Sagar Dattakumar Gavate, Harishchandra Subhash Waghmode, Mohan Baburao Naikwadi, Swapnil Tukaram Ghure, Sachin Baburao Kand, Revati Anil Kulkarni, Kalpana Mohan Naikwadi, Kanchana Dnyanoba Pawar, Balkishore Arjun Pol, Sarika Vyankat Jagtap, Shatanik Shyamsundar Bhagwat, and Pritamsingh Gulabsingh Kodape.
