Om Prakash Singh IPS posted as ADGP- Haryana State Narcotics Control Bureau

Om Prakash Singh IPS has been posted as the ADGP- Haryana State Narcotics Control Bureau (HSNCB) and ADGP, Cyber crime. He is a 1992-batch IPS officer of the Haryana cadre. He has held several important positions in the Haryana Police, including Superintendent of Police (SP) of Sonipat, Rohtak, and Gurugram districts, and Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Police, Hisar Range. He was also the Commandant of the 9th battalion of the Haryana Armed Police.

Singh is a recipient of the Police Medal for Gallantry and the Police Medal for Meritorious Service. He is known for his tough stance against crime and his commitment to fighting drug trafficking and cybercrime.

The HSNCB is a specialized agency responsible for the enforcement of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985. It is also responsible for the coordination of drug control activities in the state. The Cybercrime Cell is responsible for investigating and preventing cybercrimes in the state.
