V Srinivas, Secretary of the Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances, has been elected as the President of the International Institute of Administrative Sciences (IIAS) for the 2025–2028 term. A 1989 batch IAS officer from the Rajasthan cadre, his nomination by Prime Minister Narendra Modi reflects India’s commitment to global collaboration and excellence in governance.
In the election held on June 3, India secured a resounding victory with 61.7% of the votes, defeating Australia to claim the prestigious position.
