The Chhattisgarh government has appointed U K Agarwal as an Information Commissioner, as per the latest official notification. His induction is expected to further strengthen the State Information Commission and promote greater transparency and accountability in public administration.
In another appointment, S C Mishra has also taken charge as an Information Commissioner in Chhattisgarh. With the addition of both commissioners, the State Information Commission is set to gain enhanced administrative capacity, supporting the effective implementation of the Right to Information (RTI) Act across the state.
