In a recent update, two IPS officers from the Madhya Pradesh cadre have been selected for central deputation to Manipur. Rakesh Sagar (2016 batch), currently serving as Commandant of the 2nd Battalion, SAF, Gwalior, and Vikas Pathak (2012 batch), presently Commandant of the 26th Battalion, SAF, Guna, have been identified for posting in the northeastern state.
Meanwhile, two previously designated officers—Shivdayal and Sanjeev Kumar—will now continue their duties within their parent cadre in Madhya Pradesh, as their proposed transfers to Manipur have been held back.
