The central government has appointed two senior IPS officers as Directors General of Police (DGP).
Shiv Darshan Singh Jamwal, a 1995 batch AGMUT cadre officer, has been appointed DGP, Arunachal Pradesh, after serving as DGP, Ladakh.
Meanwhile, Mukesh Singh, a 1996 batch AGMUT cadre officer, has taken over as DGP, Ladakh following his return from Central Deputation.
