In a recent administrative update, two senior IAS officers in Haryana have been entrusted with additional roles. Ashok Kumar Meena, currently serving as MD of Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam Ltd., has also been assigned the charge of Secretary, Energy Department.
Meanwhile, Ashok Kumar Garg, who is Commissioner, Hisar Division, and CEO of the Hisar Metropolitan Development Authority, will additionally take over as MD of Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam Ltd. The new roles are aimed at optimizing leadership and ensuring seamless functioning in the power distribution sector.
