The Gujarat Government has reshuffled responsibilities among senior IAS officers to strengthen urban governance. Manish Gurwani has been appointed as the Municipal Commissioner of Gandhidham Municipal Corporation, where he will focus on city development and public service delivery.
Meanwhile, Mahesh Shantilal Jain, who is currently serving as the Regional Commissioner of Municipalities in Rajkot, has also been given the additional responsibility of Deputy Municipal Commissioner, Rajkot Municipal Corporation. These appointments are expected to bring efficiency and drive new initiatives in Gujarat’s municipal administration.
