The Government of Manipur has promoted three IPS officers of the 2012 batch to the Super Time Scale (STS), equivalent to the rank of Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Police, effective January 1, 2026.
The promoted officers include Rakesh Balwal, P. H. Mahesh Narain (on proforma basis), and Ningshem Vashum. Their elevation recognizes outstanding service and leadership within the Manipur Police, marking an important step in their professional journey.
