*Rishikesh:-THDC India Limited commemorated its 38th Foundation Day in a grand ceremony at its Corporate Office and project sites across India, celebrating decades of service in powering the nation. Established in 1988, the PSU took the day to reflect on its transformative milestones—like India’s first Variable Speed Pumped Storage Plant at Tehri and the 660 MW Khurja Thermal Project.
CMD R K Vishnoi led the celebrations with a flag hoisting and ceremonial lamp lighting alongside Directors Shallinder Singh, Bhupender Gupta, and Sipan Kumar Garg. Vishnoi underlined THDCIL’s commitment to clean energy, net-zero goals, and national growth.
Former CMD D V Singh was honoured with the prestigious *Naman Award-for his visionary leadership. The *Gaurav Awards-were presented to several senior leaders and executives for their distinguished service. Star performers from the Executive, Supervisor, and Workmen categories were also recognized—highlighting the PSU’s strong culture of performance and recognition.
