In a move aimed at ensuring administrative continuity, the Government of India has extended the tenures of several senior officials. Prof Abhay Karandikar will continue to serve as Secretary of the Department of Science & Technology.
The central deputation tenures of Sanjay Garg and Gurjeet Singh Dhillon have also been extended. Additionally, Niraj Kumar Gayagi will remain as Joint Secretary in the Department of Justice, while Kumar Ravi Kant Singh will continue in his role as Joint Secretary in the Department of Military Affairs. These extensions reflect the government’s emphasis on stability and sustained leadership across critical ministries.
