Tamil Nadu has witnessed a fresh IPS-level reshuffle with the transfer and appointment of three senior police officers to important positions in Chennai. Dr Maheshwar Dayal has been posted as Additional Director General of Police (ADGP), Administration, Chennai.
A Arun has been appointed as ADGP and Director of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption, Chennai, while T S Anbu has taken over as ADGP, Law & Order, Chennai. The latest reshuffle is seen as part of the state government’s ongoing efforts to strengthen police administration and streamline law enforcement operations across Tamil Nadu.
