Senior IAS officer Sudhansh Pant has been entrusted with additional responsibility as Secretary, Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation. He will hold the charge till May 31 during the leave period of Saurabh Garg.
Pant is a 1991-batch IAS officer of the Rajasthan cadre and currently serves as Secretary, Department of Social Justice and Empowerment. The temporary assignment ensures continuity in the functioning of the Statistics and Programme Implementation Ministry during the absence of the regular secretary.
