In a significant judicial development, six additional judges have been elevated to permanent positions in the High Courts of Karnataka and Delhi.
- Karnataka High Court: Four additional judges—Justices Ramachandra Dattatray Huddar, Venkatesh Naik Thavaryanaik, Vijaykumar Adagouda Patil, and Rajesh Rai Kallangala—have been promoted as judges. Notably, Justice Rajesh Rai Kallangala will assume charge of his office on or after February 1, 2025.
- Delhi High Court: Two additional judges, Ms. Justice Shalinder Kaur and Justice Ravinder Dudeja, have also been elevated to permanent judge positions, strengthening the judiciary in the national capital.
