In a fresh round of transfers, six IPS officers have been assigned new roles across West Bengal. Surya Pratap Yadav has been posted as Commanding Officer of the Narayani Battalion in Cooch Behar, while Ananda Roy has taken charge as CO of the EFR 3rd Battalion at Salua. Angshuman Saha will now serve as CO of the SSF unit in Barrackpore.
Meanwhile, Aashish Maurya steps in as Superintendent of Police (SP) for Ranaghat, Kumar Sunny Raj becomes SP of Murshidabad, and Shaw Kumar Amit will assume duties as SP, Jangipur.
