The Bihar government has assigned new responsibilities to six IAS officers as part of an administrative reshuffle. Rajiv Roshan has been appointed Secretary of the Higher Education Department, while Himanshu Kumar Rai will take charge as Commissioner of Darbhanga Division, along with additional responsibility for Tirhut and Saran divisions. Avnish Kumar Singh, Commissioner of Munger Division, has also been given additional charge of Bhagalpur Division. Kaushal Kishore has been posted as Secretary, Youth, Employment and Skill Development Department.
Nilesh Ramchandra Deore has been appointed Special Secretary, Civil Aviation, Patna, and will continue as Managing Director of Bihar Medical Services. Meanwhile, Ajay Yadav, Secretary, De-addiction, Excise and Registration Department, has been relieved of his additional responsibilities under the Education Department.
