Shashank Misra, an IAS Officer from Madhya Pradesh (2007 batch), has been appointed as the Director (Government Nominee) on the Board of Directors of Power Finance Corporation Limited (PFC).
He assumed this role on June 25, 2024, replacing Shri Ajay Tewari, who was previously nominated by the Ministry of Power1. Shri Misra holds an 8th Tech degree in Electrical Engineering from IIT Delhi and currently serves as the Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Power, Government of India. Notably, he also holds the position of Government Nominee Director on the Board of REC Limited.
