Sharad Kumar, the former Chief of the National Investigation Agency (NIA) and former Vigilance Commissioner in the Central Vigilance Commission (CVC), has been appointed as the new Chief of the BCCI Anti-Corruption Unit. He will serve in this role for a period of three years. Kumar is a 1979-batch IPS officer from the Haryana cadre, bringing his extensive experience in law enforcement to his new role within the cricket board.
