In a significant administrative development, the Government of India has empanelled several senior IPS officers for holding Inspector General (IG) or equivalent level posts at the Centre. The empanelment enables these officers to be considered for key assignments in various central ministries, departments, paramilitary forces, and national agencies.
Among the officers empanelled for IG/equivalent positions are Soorya Thankappan, A K Jha, Vikramjit Singh, P M K Lal, Vikas Kumar, Sarthak Sarangi, Amandeep Kapoor, Atul Kumar, Aditya Goenka, and Senthil Kumar. The latest empanelment reflects the Centre’s continued focus on strengthening senior-level leadership across important administrative and security establishments.
The list also includes N S Grewal, Shemushi, U K Sharma, Satya Veer Singh, Vikash Burman, Nitasha Guria, Kim, Manoj Kumar, Neethu Kamal, Davuluri Shravan, and S A R Rizvi. Their empanelment for Government of India assignments is expected to open avenues for strategic postings in central deputation roles.
Further, Anto Alphones, Devender Arya, Tejinder Singh, Abdul Jabbar, D N R Marak, Shobha Bhutada, Pradip Shejul, G Sivakumar, Anish Gupta, M Tamilvanan, and Ajay Linda have also been cleared for holding IG/equivalent posts at the Centre.
