Seven judges recommended for Inter-High court transfers

By the Supreme Court Collegium, several high court judges have been recommended for relocation to different jurisdictions across the country.

Justice Hemant Chandangoudar, currently serving in the Karnataka High Court, has been recommended for transfer to the Madras High Court. Alongside him, Justice K Surender, presently part of the Telangana High Court, is also poised to join the Madras Bench.

Justice Krishnan Natarajan, a judge of the Madras High Court, has been proposed for transfer to the Kerala High Court, while Justice NS Sanjay Gowda from the Karnataka High Court is likely to move to the Gujarat High Court.

Meanwhile, Ms. Justice Perugu Sree Sudha, serving in the Andhra Pradesh High Court, is on the list for a transfer to the Karnataka High Court. Justice K Manmadha Rao, also from Andhra Pradesh, has similarly been recommended for relocation to the Karnataka High Court.

In another key proposal, Justice Dixit Krishna Shripad from the Karnataka High Court is recommended to be moved to the Orissa High Court. These transfers, once notified, are expected to enhance cross-jurisdictional experience and strengthen judicial functioning across states.
