In a recent administrative move, the Government of Jammu & Kashmir has assigned new responsibilities to seven senior IPS officers. Abdul Ghani Mir has been appointed as Commandant General, Home Guards, Civil Defence, and SDRF, while Mohd Yaseen Kichloo will now serve as Principal, STC Talwara. Shobhit Saxena has been posted as SSP, Security, J&K, and Ms. Tanushree takes charge as SSP, Pulwama.
Additionally, Sahil Sarangal has been appointed as SSP, Handwara; Ms. Mohita Sharma as SSP, Kathua; and Anayat Ali Choudhary will now serve as SSP, Kulgam. The reshuffle aims to enhance administrative efficiency and strengthen policing operations across the Union Territory.
