Senior IAS officer Rajesh Aggarwal elevated as Maharashtra’s Chief Secretary

Senior IAS officer Rajesh Aggarwal, a 1989-batch bureaucrat, has been appointed as the new Chief Secretary of Maharashtra. Aggarwal recently returned to the state after completing his central deputation and was serving as the Additional Chief Secretary for Administrative Reforms and Good Governance.

His elevation to Chief Secretary is expected to strengthen governance and accelerate key administrative initiatives in Maharashtra.
