The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has cleared the name of Rohit Kumar for appointment as Additional Secretary, NITI Aayog. Along with this, his central deputation tenure has been extended for one year, now valid up to September 24, 2026.
Rohit Kumar is a 1997 batch IAS officer of the Rajasthan cadre, and his extended presence is expected to bolster policy initiatives at the apex planning institution.
