A number of IAS officers have been reassigned in Tamil Nadu. Dr. K. Gopal has been appointed as Additional Chief Secretary (ACS) for Higher Education, Pradeep Yadav has taken the role of ACS to the Deputy Chief Minister, and Rajesh Lakhoni has assumed the position of ACS for Revenue Administration and Disaster Management.
Further appointments include Mrs. E. Sundaravalli as Commissioner of Collegiate Education, Mrs. R. Lalitha as Director of Textiles, and Pavankumar G. Giriyappanavar as Deputy Secretary in the Public Department, with additional responsibility as Officer on Special Duty (OSD) to the Chief Secretary. K. Nanthakumar has been made CMD of TNEB & TANGEDCO, B. Vishnu Chandran has become Director of Employment & Training, and Mrs. V. Amuthavalli is now Secretary of the Handlooms, Handicrafts, Textiles, and Khadi Department.
Additionally, Mrs. R. Lilly has been appointed as Commissioner of Social Service, Dharmendra Yadav as Principal Secretary and CMD of the Tamil Nadu Small Industries Development Corporation, Dr. S. Swarna as Principal Secretary and Project Director of RUSA, and J. Jayakanthan has been appointed Vice Chairperson and Managing Director of the Tamil Nadu Watershed Development Agency.
