REC Limited, under its CSR initiative, has provided financial support of ₹6.01 crore for five Mobile Medical Units (MMUs) in Uttarakhand. These MMUs, operated in collaboration with CSC Academy, were launched by Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami.
The initiative focuses on delivering primary healthcare to remote and underserved regions across Haridwar, Udham Singh Nagar, and Tehri Garhwal. Notably, one unit is exclusively dedicated to women’s healthcare, staffed entirely by female professionals.
The program aligns with the broader vision of “Swasth Uttarakhand, Samriddh Uttarakhand,” and strengthens last-mile healthcare delivery through REC Foundation’s ‘Doctor Aapke Dwaar’ initiative.
