REC Limited, a Maharatna CPSU and premier NBFC under the Ministry of Power, has been awarded the prestigious ‘Rajbhasha Deepti Shield’ for exemplary efforts in implementing the Official Language Policy during 2023–24. CMD Jitendra Srivastava and ED (Official Language) R P Vaishnaw accepted the award from Union Minister Manohar Lal at the Hindi Advisory Committee meeting in New Delhi.
The recognition adds to REC’s consistent leadership in promoting Hindi across its offices. During the event, the Ministry also released the latest edition of REC’s Hindi magazine -Urjaayan-, underscoring the organization’s cultural and linguistic contributions.
