The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the appointment of Rajeev Singh Thakur as Adviser to NITI Aayog. His post has been temporarily upgraded, and his central deputation tenure has been extended by one year beyond December 3, 2024. Rajeev Singh Thakur, a 1995 batch IAS officer of the Rajasthan cadre, brings a wealth of administrative experience to this key policymaking body.
