Raj Kumar Arora, a seasoned officer from the 1990 batch of the Indian Defence Accounts Service (IDAS), has officially assumed charge as the Controller General of Defence Accounts (CGDA).
With over three decades of service, Arora brings extensive experience in critical domains such as financial policymaking, budgeting, accounting, audit, procurement, and personnel management. His appointment is expected to enhance operational efficiency and oversight within the defence finance ecosystem.
