The Central Government has selected Rahul Eknath Karale, IDAS (2011), for appointment as Commissioner (Personnel) in the Delhi Development Authority (DDA), Delhi, under the Central Staffing Scheme.
The Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) issued an Office Memorandum confirming his appointment at the Director level under the Department of Capital Development.
Karale was recommended for Central deputation by the Department of Defence.
His appointment will be for a period of five years from the date of assumption of charge or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
The Department of Defence has been requested to relieve him immediately to enable him to join his new assignment at the DDA.
The DoPT memorandum also states that the officer must join the post within three weeks of the appointment order. Failure to comply may result in the initiation of debarment proceedings under the Central Staffing Scheme.
