Five IPS officers of the 2011 batch in Punjab have been elevated to the rank of Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIGP). The officers promoted include Dr. Nanak Singh, Gaurav Garg (on Central Deputation), Deepak Hilori (on Central Deputation), Gurmit Singh Chauhan, and Naveen Saini.
The promotions come as part of the state’s efforts to strengthen leadership at the senior level within the police force. These officers are expected to play key roles in driving law enforcement initiatives and administrative improvements across the state.
